Triads

  • A guitar triad is a three-note chord made up of the root, third, and fifth notes of a scale. It forms the basic building block of most chords
  • Triad usually has 3 forms
    • Triad (the lowest note is the root note)
    • 1st inversion (the lowest note is the 3rd)
    • 2nd inversion (the lowest note is the 5th)

Major Triad
